I am a 33 year old male engineer looking for a new flatmate. Move-in-date is a bit flexible within the month of July, preferably at August 1st at the latest. I prefer people who plan on staying for at least one year, and intend to sign an indefinate contract. Cancellation period will be 3 months from my side and 1 month from the tenant.
It is important that our personalities and cleanliness match, so please tell me a bit about yourself if you apply. I'm a fairly quiet person and my hobbies include cycling, languages, gardening at my allotment nearby, dancing and board games. I grew up nearby Gothenburg but have been living in Japan for a while and then in northern Sweden for a few years, before moving back here. Regarding cleaning the arrangement with my current flatmate is that he does an ordniary cleaning of the shared areas every second week, while I do more thourogh cleaning at a more irregular basis.
It is a 3 room apartment (2ldk) at 80 m2 and am letting out the second bedroom. The bedroom is fully furnished and about 10 m2 and in addition there is a walk-in closet for additional storage. Apart from my own bedroom the rest of the apartment is shared. The apartment is on the ground floor and has a small private garden with a deck which of course also is to shared. Cutlery, plates etc are shared as well. There is a washing mashine in the apartment and in the building there are communal laundry rooms, small gym and sauna. There is also a guest apartment and a party room for rent.
The apartment is located on Hisingen, about 7 km cycling distance from the central station. It's about 20 minutes by buss the the central station or campus Lindholmen. There are also direct busses Chalmers Johanneberg which passes parts of Göteborgs Universitet as well. The buses 18 and 19 pass by at about 5 minutes intervals during rush hours and at about 30 min intervals late at night.
In addition to the rent a security deposit will due when moving in and will be corresponding to 2 months rent to cover potential overdue rent and damage to furniture etc.
